Bok Choy, Purple Lady
(Bok Choy, Purple Lady) This variety of bok choy originally came from China. We bought ours from Touch of Dutch Farm in Richland Center, Wisconsin. It is a shorter and more open head than the green variety we see in the supermarkets. The heads average only 6-7 inches tall. We could not find any in-depth nutritional information about this variety other than it is antioxidant-rich. It is flavorful and is an excellent culinary variety for cooking in a wok or eating raw in a salad.
