Medjool Date Palm Tree

Medjool Date Palm Tree
(Medjool Date Palm Tree) In the center of the indoor planter are four medjool date palm trees growing as a cluster.  We planted the seeds in a pot about 3-1/2 years prior to transplanting the trees to the planter and taking this photo.  To the right of the medjool date palm trees is a one year old avocado tree which we also grew from seed. Even though this photo is not directly recipe-related, it is part of the fun that comes with "How Mary and Frank and Friends Eat".
