(Fig, Black (Mission)) This is a pint container of fresh black (mission) figs.  They are very soft when ripe and bruise easily.  They are usually quite expensive when purchased in the market.  Select black figs that are free of bruises, blemishes, mold, and that are not oozing any juice.  Just wash them and eat them as they are.
