(Parsnips) We occasionally buy parsnips for cooking in soups. Their flavor is somewhere
between carrots and turnips. We see most parsnips being sold in printed
plastic bags. Look carefully to make sure they are free of mold and rot.
Parsnips are much less nutritious than the carrots they resemble in shape.
